L.M., Orlando, FL	About Us Our company was founded in 1999 after our founder and president, Mr. Dave Harriman Jr. realized that there was a need for something quite different from the sailing trophies that were being offered at the time. Having previously owned a commercial diving company in San Diego for 12 years that prepped boats for sailing and racing, Mr. Harriman developed a vast appreciation of the efforts that go into each and every sailboat race. There is nothing quite like the feeling at the marinas on race day- the excitement, the sailors getting the vessels ready, the teamwork, the sailboats leaving their slips with the skipper and crew… San Diego Fabrication was started and our main mission was to create sailing trophies that would reflect all of the efforts that went into winning them. After all, the trophies should be extraordinary and be proudly displayed on a mantle or in a trophy case. We frequently hear from our customers, "The trophies were beautiful. I just wish I could have won one!" In 2006 we purchased a laser system that allowed us to perform all of our own lasering in-house and provided us the flexibility to greater expand our product lines. In April 2007, we relocated the company to Lincoln, Nebraska and changed the name to Central Plasticworks. We ship about half of our trophies to the East Coast, and being centered in the United States generally allows us to have the trophies delivered to you faster and less expensive. Our new location is much larger, is more efficient, and allows us to keep costs at the lowest point possible for you. All of the pieces that we create are designed by us, are made at our facility, and are shipped from our location. We ship thousands of trophies and awards each year throughout the US and hundreds more globally. Currently, the only service that we outsource is our screen printing. By mid-summer 2008 we aim to have an in-house screen printing division. As always, we love to hear how we are doing from you.
